The founder of Avicenna Holding, Dr. Shahrokh MirzaHosseini, established the International Center for Iranian Art and Handicrafts in Hungary and registered the Ars Persica brand name in 2015. This marked the beginning of a unique initiative aimed at supporting the international recognition of Iranian artisans, ensuring a strong presence for them in European and global markets. We work to bring Persian carpets and handcrafted creations to the widest audience and to ensure that these crafts continue to thrive and evolve in the global market. Ars Persica is not just a brand but a bridge connecting Iranian carpet merchants, artisans, and the European and global markets.
To achieve this, the center has developed close cooperation with Iranian organizations, artists, and traders, and has built the necessary legal infrastructure. In addition, we have established and continue to develop the logistics, storage, and sales processes for handcrafted products, ensuring that they reach the widest possible audience.

Ars Persica continuously offers new opportunities for merchants dealing with Persian carpets and handicrafts:

• We organize exclusive exhibitions where Iranian carpets and handcrafted products are directly available to the widest audience.
• We participate in international exhibitions to showcase Persian art and crafts in Europe’s largest markets.
• We operate a modern online store that provides an opportunity for simple and fast global sales of products.
• We organize seminars and conferences aimed at international branding and promotion of Iranian art and handicrafts in Europe.
• In cooperation with Avicenna International College and other European and Iranian educational institutions, Ars Persica organizes workshops and professional training sessions in Budapest and other European cities. These sessions help promote a deeper understanding of Iranian art and crafts and support the entry of these products and creators into international markets.
• The center organizes exclusive tours for European enthusiasts in cooperation with domestic travel agencies and art organizations. Participants can visit some of Iran’s most prominent cities, such as Isfahan and Shiraz, to experience Iranian art and handicrafts firsthand and purchase art products locally.

The International Center for Iranian Art and Handicrafts held its first exhibition in Budapest at the Vigadó, located along the Danube. Since the successful debut of the event, we have organized numerous other events, promoting Persian carpets and handicrafts to an increasingly wide audience. Our next major event took place in December 2023. We presented our Persian carpets and handicrafts at the Avicenna Christmas Market, which attracted significant attention from Hungarian and European audiences.

In early 2025, we reached another milestone: on February 17th, the Ars Persica online store was officially launched, providing a direct sales channel for Persian carpets and art products worldwide.
